how do i handle a buyer wanting product photography?

I have a buyer who is looking to send me a product so I can photograph a product for them and improve their images. But this would be my first gig and I can't help but feel suspicious that they're going to cancel as soon as I buy their product off their listing. And is it good etiquette for them to link the listing in tooklancer Messaging?
